Volker
Ehemann
born in Heidelberg in 1949, graduated
in Biology in 1982 at the Heidelberg University, German Cancer
Research Center, Department of Cell and Tumor Biology. In the
year 1985 he obtained doctoral degree at the German Cancer Research
Center, Dept. Exp. Pathology in Heidelberg, Germany, where in
the period 1985 – 1990 he was a postdoctoral fellow. In
the years 1991 – 1992 he was Senior Scientist at the Private
Institute of Immunology and Experimental Pathology in Karlsruhe,
Germany. From 1992 to 1994 he held the position of the Group Head
in Cell Biology at ORPEGEN Pharma GmbH in Heidelberg, Germany.
From 1995 Dr Ehemann is Senior Scientist and Section Head in Flow
Cytometry and Cytology at the Pathology Institute in Heidelberg,
Germany. From 1998 he is Visiting Professor of Cell Biology and
Flow Cytometry in King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology
(KACST) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Dr Ehemann is the author and co-author of a
number of works published in European Journal of Cell Biology
and Journal of Biological Chemistry.
