Professor
Małgorzata Wilczyńska
graduated from the Department of Biology
of the University of Lodz, Poland, in 1981. She obtained
her doctoral degree in Medical Science at the same university
in 1990, whereas in the year 2002 she defended her doctoral
thesis in Medical Biochemistry at the Umea University, Sweden.
In the period of 1981-1982 she was research
technician at the Department of Biochemistry in the University
of Lodz. From the years 1982 to 1993 Prof. Wilczynska held
subsequent posts of research assistant, senior assistant,
and assistant professor at the Department of Biophysics,
Medical University of Lodz. Since 1993 Professor Wilczynska
has been appointed at the Department of Medical Biochemistry
and Biophysics at Umea University, Sweden, where, in the
period of 1993-1998 she was a post-doctoral researcher, in
the years 1998-2004 she was active as both a postdoctoral
assistant and a Ph.D. student, and in January 2005 she obtained
her present position of Assistant Professor.
Prof. Wilczynska is an author and co-author
of numerous publications in highly-noted scientific journals.
