Prof.
Jean Claude D'Halluin
received his Diploma
of superior technical studies at the National Conservatory
of Arts and Trade in 1970. In 1974 he graduated from the
National Conservatory of Arts and Trade with the degree
of chemist engineer, and in 1980 he completed his doctoral
degree at the University of Lille . During that period
Professor D'Halluin held the position of Attaché of
researches at CNRS; in the years 1981 - 1990 he was Chargé of
researches at CNRS, and in 1991 he was appointed Director
of researches at CNRS. Since 1993 Professor D'Halluin has
been the team manager of «elaboration of new viral
vectors » at INSERM U524; and since 1995 - a
member of the directory council of the IFR 22: Biology
and Pathology of the cellular regulations. Also, in the
period of 1995-2000 he was co-responsible of the Genetic
and Molecular Biology option of the DEA "sciences
de la Vie et de la Santé" Lille1 - Lille2,
whereas at present Professor D'Halluin is responsible of
the DEA "Sciences de la Vie et de la Santé" de
Lille2 - Lille1. Main research interests of Prof. D'Halluin
include: (1) replication and assembly of the adenovirus
particle: study with thermosensible mutants, proposal a
model for adenovirus assembly; (2) determination of the
adenovirus E1A domain responsible of the Ad12 oncogenic
properties; (3) demonstration of the NF k B involving in
the cell transformation by P210 BCR-ABL , modifications
of the adenovirus tropism for gene vectors. Management:
